Stories We Could Tell – African-Descent Lutherans in the ELCA Podcast Series will premiere on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 7pm with Episode 1 entitled “Introduction and Origins of African Descent Lutherans in the Western Hemisphere” on the King of Kings website and Facebook page.

Stories We Could Tell Podcast Series was created for King of Kings’ Black History Month Celebration in 2019. The four-part series will be available for listening or download at http://www.kingofkings-ny.org/podcast each Saturday evening throughout the month of February.

Here is the release schedule for the remaining episodes:

Episode 2 – “African American Lutherans on the U.S. Mainland & the Stories that Four Pioneer Pastors Could Tell” on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 7pm.

Episode 3 – “African American Lutherans Post-Civil War: Stories They Could Tell” on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 7pm.

Episode 4 – “African American Lutherans: ‘Voices’ from the ELCA Archives & Parting Words” on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 7pm.
