Volleyball Marathon

On March 9, 2007, King of Kings joined over 100 youth and 60 adults from 12 Syracuse area Lutheran churches and participated in a 12-hour, all-night volleyball marathon at the Women’s Gym at Syracuse University. Over $5,000.00 was raised for Lutheran Charities Appeal. Another successful year of great fun!

Girl's Sleepover

On January 14th, a girl's sleepover was held at the McCabe's house. Thirteen of us enjoyed playing games, watching "chick flicks", eatinglots of food and sharing great fellowship. 

We were entertained for ashort time by a suprise guest. The girls were all  very welcoming to"her", but they were having a hard time not staring at her bright yellow wig and facial hair. Any guesses of who came to visit? He, I mean shedid not sleep over though, I think we may have scared our guest away!

Luther Bowl

On January 15, 2007, we hosted the Annual Luther Bowl. We had a total of 27 from King of Kings join the 80 youth from our conference.

We started the day at King of Kings for worship led by Pastor Doyle from Faith Cicero with our band leading the music. They did a great job...thanks to all of you.  We then enjoyed pizza, soda, and oreos....three essentials for a successful youth event. After lunch, we went to Flamingo Bowl for an afternoon of bowling and fellowship. Thanks to all who participated, hope you had fun!
