Prayer Chain - Prayer concerns are passed by e-mail or phone to members of the Prayer Chain.

READING GROUPS
M&Ms (Women's Bible &/or book study) -
This group meets on Tuesdays twice a month (12:30-2:00 pm) at Debbie Baranowski's home. We are enjoying a study of Philippians, which will end in April, followed by a 5-week study to be determined. This group does not meet in the summer.

Book Study - The next book in our reading series is Amish Grace, a book recounting the events of the shooting of ten schoolgirls in Nickel Mines, PA (October 2006), and the community’s radical act of forgiveness. The discussion will be held on April 7th at 7 pm.

STUDY GROUPS
Sunrise Guys
- Meets every other Friday morning at 6am at Steve Miller's house. Check the Sunday bulletin for meeting dates.

Bethel Bible Series - Steve and Scarlett Erdley are teaching this series, which offers an overview of the Bible from Genesis to Revelations. This consists of six 7-week sessions.

BLT - Meets Tuesday mornings from 9:30 - 11am in the parlor for Bible Study, fellowship, goodies, and prayer with Pastor Paul. Known for the best birthday parties in town, this group continues its tradition of social time, birthday cake, and prayer concerns. They are currently studying the book of Romans.

Pastor's Classes - Pastor Paul's summer reading course for the summer of 2008 will be a study of Luther’s Catechism using the book On Being Lutheran: Reflections on Church, Theology and Faith by Tim Lull. See the King’s Crown for more information and sign up on the bulletin board.

Adult Forum - Meets on Sunday mornings in the parlor during the Sunday School hour. A discussion of the Sunday morning lessons/sermon is the weekly topic this spring.

RETREATS
We offer an annual congregational retreat at a local retreat center for our adults. A leader guides us in study, worship and fellowship. Information for upcoming retreats will be posted on the bulletin board as well as the King’s Crown newsletter.

The women recently returned from their second annual retreat during the month of February. The topic was the “Bloomery,” with the topic of being a Mary in a Martha world. Plans are in place to organize another retreat for the winter of 2009.
