King of Kings continues to grow into the missional congregation God is calling us to be. Following our mission trips in 2008, we are participating in three trips in 2009. Our adults will be involved in a week working at a local church camp (Vanderkamp - June 7-12, 2009) with work blitzes for the entire congregation planned for the 6th and the 13th.
 
Our young adult group will spend a week at Meeting Ground in Maryland, a faith-based organization providing shelter, food and other basic needs to homeless people. If you'd like to join either of these trips, there is still room available.
 
Our Senior Youth Group (25 youth and 5 adults) will be attending the National Youth Gathering in New Orleans. Its theme is "Jesus, Justice, Jazz" and will include work projects throughout the week.

We continue to support a number of benevolent projects with our tithes and offerings. During Lent of 2008, we began to sponsor our second refugee family. This family is from Myanmar (Burma). We support mission work in Zimbabwe and Madagascar. These are exciting times at King of Kings. Come and join us as we worship and praise God who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
