Pastor Rebecca has served with King of Kings since 2023. She graduated from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago in 2017 and has since been called to congregations in New Jersey, Michigan, and New York. In her personal time, Pastor Rebecca enjoys musical theater (observing not performing), hiking (casually but enthusiastically), and fiber arts (especially quilting). She is also the co-host of a podcast called Mind the Gap: Lectionary Commentary, which digs into the Bible verses that get left out of readings in Sunday morning worship.
Beth has been a member of King of Kings since 2006. She was a member of the Senior Choir until 2010 when Pastor Herpich asked her to be the musician for a new “blended worship” style service. Since then she has started the “Son-Light Choir” and in 2021 became the Director of Music here. In 2023 she became the director of the Hand Bell Choir. She works closely with Steve Richardson and the Brass Ensemble, and also works with instrumental and vocal soloists who provide special music throughout the year.
Beth was a Registered Occupational Therapist for 38 years, and a Certified Hand Therapist for 30 of those years. She was an organist and choir director at a UCC church for 21 years prior to coming to King of Kings.
Music has always been an important part of Beth’s life , and she feels blessed to be part of the music ministry here at King of Kings.
